Pros

Team: brilliant minds, interesting people, positive outlook and attitude. Growth: There is room to find the perfect role and grow as a professional Stability: Rare in a tech startup is the real responsibility at Zesty for making measured decisions in hiring, ownership, management, and expansion into new markets. Product: Zesty's products actually exist, they work, and they are being used by top companies. Impact: Zesty's product allows insurance providers to insure properties which would have otherwise gone uninsured. Simply put, people's property will be better protected with an understanding of the risks it is exposed to. Work/Life balance: while in my final negotiations, current employees made a strong effort to convey to me was that they were able to lead a fulfilling life while still working at Zesty.ai. Having just started, we'll see if I can do the same, but it is evident from talking to people that they have good lives outside of work.

Cons

Zesty.ai is a remote-flex workplace, and this decision, while freeing in some ways, presents challenges for staying connected to the team. Each candidate will have to evaluate if this is a good choice for them, or if a more traditional work environment is preferred. It might not work for everyone. For those who do thrive in a personal environment, there are frequent trips for the whole company to meet in person, as well as provisions for shared workspace rentals such as at WeWork, if needed.

Pros

Differentiated solutions, innovative R&D, cohesive and positive culture.

Cons

Not really a con but it might be for some; 100% virtual, though multiple hub cities host community-building activities several times per year.
