Pros
- Interesting product and there are always new things to learn, so the job never gets boring. - Fantastic people to work with, very welcoming, very warm and a collaborative environment, even in sales, which is rare. - Family and Health oriented: if there is a family emergency, a health issue or other personal factor, they are very warm and flexible and encourage self care. I have never felt afraid to ask for a sick day, or to leave early to take care of my child if that became necessary. I feel like a valued person here, and not just a seat filler. - Encouraging and great development opportunities. The company, and management in particular, are very encouraging of professional and personal development, asking if there's anything they can do to help or support. - Reasonable Transparency and no bars to whom you can approach. I feel like there is a lot of reasonable transparency with corporate decisions, and there is no hierarchical block on whom you can speak to. Any C-Level is approachable and open to help.
Cons
- Siloed teams across different countries means that sometimes there are policies for employees in one country that are not the same as the ones where the manager is or vice versa; this can lead to small miscommunications or misunderstandings (however, this has always been very quickly fixed) - Cross functional communication can be a tricky. With everyone having their own targets and KPIs to meet, getting everyone in the same boat can be challenge from time to time, especially with regard to shared processes; not an insurmountable challenge, but it is there.
