Pros

Although I only worked here for a short time you can tell the office, overall, was a very close knit group. They have great bonding nights and everyone seems to get along very well even though it is a competition amongst colleagues.I can see why it is a best rated place to work for this reason.

Cons

BluMarc lies. They tell you in both interviews (two total, one with the manager and one with a trainer) that it is a marketing firm.. It is not. Trust me, they are very good at working and stretching the truth by carefully selecting their wording. Do not let this fool you, they are a straight up B2B(going door to door to other businesses) selling Quill products, which are office supplies. When you go out in the field BluMarc doesnt even get mentioned. Their sales pitch just states they represent Quill, a Staples brand.. Nothing about Blumarc. Melissa, the manager and CEO at the Bridgewater location, is in charge of the Quill selling products, while the other manager at the office(apparently) is in charge of the marketing with the Fortune 500 companies they pride themselves on. They make you seem, since you interview with her you will be apart of the marketing perspective, false. Oh and they are 10 hour days, not that it matters I believe they told me that but yeah. 100% commission too even though they tell you paid training.

Pros

The best part about Blumarc is the people and the way they care for one another. Aside from the individuals within Blumarc, the opportunity for growth is like no other. If you are someone that is looking for a fun work environment, where you can also experience rapid growth; Blumarc is the place for you!

Cons

Blumarc forces you to get out of your comfort zone and grow into someone/ something you didn' t think would be possible. If you're not looking to get pushed out of your comfort zone and grow within a company, this might not be the right company for you.

Pros

Blumarc has a very positive environment. The office is very nice and inviting. Everyone was extremely personable. Blumarc is a really fun, young company that emphasizes on employee satisfaction.

Cons

The job description and job title is pretty deceptive. It was impossible to find anything other than a positive review on Blumarc, while I can see why given the environment, but I don't feel they are 100% genuine. The job of Account Executive is ultimately door to door sales. 100% commission based until promoted in about 6 months. If you don't have a entrepreneurial mindset or you don't think you would make a good car sales rep, don't apply. If you love a challenge and you feel that you can speak to almost anyone, this is perfect for you. You learn and grow a lot from the process and it essentially becomes second nature. Just know what you are getting yourself into.

Thank you for your kind words about our work environment and focus on employee satisfaction. It seems as though you must have been an employee who had at least a moderate amount of success with us since you felt that the sales eventually became second nature and that you grew while with us? I'm not sure that our hiring practice or transparency was an issue for you since you accepted and stayed working for us for a period of time. I can't imagine if that were an issue you would have accepted or stayed with a company you did not feel was transparent. Although I do not know your background due to the anonymity, I would disagree with your view that someone would have to see themselves as being able to be a car salesman to excel with us. The two have as much in common as any company that does sales in a face to face manner. To be clear, we are hiring for an account executive who will be cross trained through our management training program. Perhaps you did not work for us long enough to have learned more than the sales, which is in fact the first part of our management training program and an essential skill for anyone in business to acquire. We only represent our client's business accounts at their place of business. We do not visit with consumers door to door at their place of residence. Our reps are compensated three different ways and is gone over thoroughly through the interview process.
