Pros

Absolutely none. Stay far away from company. Managers are will string you along and burn you out. They will sell you on the dream career you want but unless your their favorite they wont move you along.

Cons

Working at Efinancial has been the absolute worst job I have ever had in my life. For multiple reasons: - First off. You WILL be on the phone ALL day long dealing with rude callers. They micromanage you ALL day. You will repeat the same lines 300-500 times a day. - The only reason they don’t have computers doing this job is because customers don’t want to talk to a computer. You will be used as if you are a computer and not human. - They brag they have a base pay but it is just $15. Even if you get promoted up to a licensed agent position, you still get paid ONLY $15 an hour. - The managers will LIE to you that it’s a fast paced environment and that you will be promoted if you pass your exam. I passed my exam and my numbers were well above average and they didn’t promote me for months! They kept telling me “just focus on where you are at and you will be fine”. - The day to day work is HORRIBLE. You are making over 300+ calls a day, to terrible leads and getting cursed out a lot of the time. They tell you they provide “warm leads”but most of my calls were to individuals that were abusive and rude and you have to remain professional and not hang up on them. - Managers only will point out all you did wrong and focus on the negative. Then when you do great, they give you a pat on the back and say “now do it again”. Management should be much more focused on the employees and their happiness. - They will lie to about how great of a career that being a Life Insurance Agent is and not tell you that it will only work out if you are #1 or else they wont promote you ever. - One of the worst parts about this job is that they will put you up against your peers for promotions and won’t promote if not the absolute best. PS... I could go on and on about just how bad this opportunity is. They will hire anyone off the street, so beware when they make you feel like you’ve gotten a great position. They will also say these negative reviews are from angry disgruntled ex employees. This is not the case I was in the top 5% of all of the BDR’s and did great numbers jumping through all of their hoops and they did not come through on their end. I’d say this job is as close to a scam as you can get! Stay as far away as possible. Also, they make you get your Life Insurance License all outside of work hours completely unpaid. You will be paid about $2k total for the month and are expected to work overtime and complete license training and exam. ** Passing the exam does not even ensure you will be promoted! They will lie to you and squeeze everything out of you until you move on and they trick someone else.

Pros

Has been an great opportunity. Can do big things here. A lot of the complaints are people who dont put in the work to advance. You have to work hard to get to AE. They have sales meetings every month and call out promotions and there are ALWAYS a lot of promotions to sales roles. You literally see promos every month. Good earning opportunities get to work fully remote from home. They invest a lot into you starting up. Yes, you have to make it past BDR role but that’s an important role because it’s when you get licensed and then when you become an agent your get leads sent to you all day. Company is like a small family you can tell leadership is strong together which makes for an enjoyable work environment. Can go on with pros: good benefits, base pay, computer + monitors, incentives, company trips for top earners, training, it goes on.

Cons

They give chances to non- sales backgrounds. Therefore you’re sometimes dealing with the inexperienced people that think it’s a cake walk. They quickly find out it’s not as easy as they hoped. In turn they don’t try to get better and blame everything but themselves, which is why you see a lot of these negative reviews. I had people on my team complain about everything and you could tell it wasn’t going to work out for them right away. It’s sales it’s tough. Gotta put in the work as you would any company. People say you can make more flipping burgers.. ya their goals are also not long term if working for the minimu wage rather than the commission. If I could change one thing I’d suggest they only hire sales ppl so that everyone could be surrounded by like minded individuals but I get it. Some people make the most out of it with out sale background I’m sure

Pros

Remote, They provide equipment. Unlimited Overtime you choose your own schedule They pay for you to become licensed

Cons

During the 2 days of training, managers just read directly from a powerpoint and offer no real help/ advice. They make it seem like it'll be very easy to overcome objections and transfer calls, because we're only calling warm leads. But is it really a warm lead, if the person only put their information down to win points on some mobile game. Or is it a warm lead when an elderly person thinks they'll be getting government funded benefits, so they put in their information only to be harassed and scammed, and pay overpriced insurance on their fixed incomes. If leads were actually warm, then maybe they wouldn't have to deceive people in the job posting. I applied for a sales position, not for telemarketing. . If you make it past the "training" you're then told to get licensed by your state, which they do help with, but if you're anything like me, they'll fire you, for not hitting KPIs one week before you're supposed to take the exam just so that they don't have to pay for it. This company is a scam, if you're desperate for cash, take the position, but don't quit your job search.
