I have been working at eFinancial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Started in May and love it. All inbound leads which is an awesome change from cold calling. They pay for your license and the commissions are solid. The benefits are also really competitive. Managers seem to care and have all moved through the ranks.

    Cons

The month or so of time taking calls and learning is a grind but once you pass your exam its awesome. Lots of phone time but thats the job.

I have been working at eFinancial full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Growing extremely fast.. lots of room to grow with the company All inbound sales calls with solid leads They pay for your insurance license and also pay you to study (on the clock) You get what you give as for anything in life. Management is always willing to help you if you reach out. Cool office located in Bellevue - free; parking, coffee, tea, bagels Fridays, arcade games Lots of fun cash incentives.....

    Cons

Most BDR positions starting pay is less than the local Taco Bell hourly wage - BUT if you're motivated and get your licensing as soon as you can and prove you can work hard you will be promoted quickly - start making the real money! It feels as if the low pay threads out the ones that don't see the potential of what they can make after working here for a little time. It sucks when starting a new career in insurance...

I have been working at eFinancial full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You'll never see a management team that cares more about their people. You get to better people's lives with the products you sell making a good living along the way. I can honestly say I've made more money each year I've been there (4) than the year before. If you are committed to improving, they will help you find ways to make more money.

    Cons

Like any sales job there is rejection. Maybe the customer hangs up on you, or there is insufficient funds in their bank account, or the underwriters decline the application. That's part of the business, you need to stay level headed and roll with the punches. You can make a good commission check every single month if you apply yourself.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the continuous improvements that are happening in the office. The new benefits are way better, new chairs are great, can we upgrade the coffee next?

    Pros

The leads come in rapid fire, you have several products to sell so you have something for everyone. Cool environment with fun contests and perks. You can get promoted to the Senior level in 4 months if you pass all your tests.

    Cons

This is a job. You are expected to be on time, follow scripts, and spend a lot of time on the phone.

    Advice to Management

The building cafe has been closed for months, bring in a food truck or something.
