Pros

Fast-paced environment with a strong focus on personal development. You gain real experience in sales, communication, and leadership much quicker than most entry-level roles. There’s a clear progression based on performance rather than time, and the team culture is energetic and motivating. Good opportunity for people interested in building confidence and long-term business skills.

Cons

For new starts, income is alright cause of the base pay assurance, but commission can be inconsistent, especially at the beginning, which may not suit everyone. The role is more demanding than it may initially appear, and not everyone is prepared for the level of resilience required. There can be a gap between expectations and day-to-day reality.

Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found the environment supportive and that you were able to gain valuable experience in sales, communication, and personal development. We recognise the importance of clearly communicating the nature of the role from the outset, particularly around expectations, earning structure, and the field-based aspect of the work. This is something we are continuously working to improve throughout the hiring process. As a performance-driven opportunity, the role can be demanding and may not suit individuals seeking a more traditional or fixed structure. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to focus on ensuring candidates have a clear and accurate understanding of the role before joining.

Pros

I actually enjoyed my time here more than I expected to. The people in the office were cool and the atmosphere was always energetic which made it easier to stay motivated. One thing I’ll say is you definitely improve your communication skills because you’re constantly speaking to people and working around a team. I came in quite shy and left way more confident than before. There’s also a lot of support from the people higher up if you actually want to learn and improve. I consistently made more than my basic salary I left mainly because I decided I wanted to move into something more related to my degree long term, but I can’t lie, the experience did help me a lot personally. The skills they taught me acted as a stepping stone

Cons

The role isn’t for everyone and I think some people go in expecting a normal office job when it’s more fast paced and performance based. Some days can be tiring and you have to stay mentally switched on. I also think culture can be cut throat for the wrong person.

Pros

The de-centralised work structure makes working for Launch180 less stressful, as you don't have to constantly worry about work politics and hierarchies. This also makes it easier to ask for help/advice from people who hold more senior roles. Overall, the non-toxic work environment is the biggest pro of this role.

Cons

They don't really specifically explain that you'd solely be doing on field sales during the interview, which can be misleading for people who expect the role to be more research/office-based. As it's also sales, there's also a lot of pressure to meet the targets that they set you, not helped that how much you earn depends on how much sales you secured. If you're someone who would prefer to meet their own targets/goals at their own pace and wants a secure salary for peace of mind, I would not recommend this job.
