Pros

If you thrive in a fast-moving environment, this is a great fit. The work spans a wide surface area — you're constantly engaging with both cutting-edge technology and the operational side of the business, which keeps things fresh. No two weeks look the same. I've been exposed to leading and bleeding-edge tools, processes and architectures that I genuinely wouldn't have encountered elsewhere this quickly. Wearing many hats isn't just tolerated here, it's expected and rewarded (and I love it!). You build context fast and your contributions are visible and are rewarded. p44 is a strong fit for professionals who want broad exposure, real ownership, and the satisfaction of building something meaningful! Come in ready to move fast and to roll up your sleeves — that's where the job rewards you most. What also stands out is the AI investment that extends well beyond the product. Employees across the org are being actively equipped with impressive AI and workflow automation tools that sharpen how we work day-to-day, and there's a real push to build AI fluency at every single level. The people are sharp and genuinely invested in doing things right, and leadership isn't afraid to move decisively when the moment calls for it.

Cons

That same pace can be a double-edged sword. Processes and tooling are still maturing, and structure doesn't always keep up with growth. Turnover is a challenge — when people leave, institutional knowledge walks out with them due to poor documentation and things can start to slip before the gaps are filled. It can also lead to late nights and off-hours unplanned work — though it doesn't go unrecognized. If you need a well-defined lane to run the typical engine, you may find it frustrating. That said, that undefined lane is exactly what makes it fun.

Pros

I've been in People leadership long enough to know the difference between a company that talks about its values and one that actually uses them to make decisions. p44 is the latter, not perfectly, but genuinely. The AI investment here is real: we've put serious resources into training every team member on Claude and AI tools, and I've watched people across functions change how they work because of it. The leadership team is sharp, direct, and willing to be challenged. There's a high-ownership culture that attracts people who want to actually move things, not just manage process. And the market moment is real: supply chain visibility powered by AI is where the industry is going, and we're not chasing it, we're building it.

Cons

The pace and the ambiguity are features for some people and dealbreakers for others, and I don't think we're always honest enough about that upfront. This is a company that moves fast, changes direction when it needs to, and expects you to figure things out with incomplete information. If you need a lot of structure to do your best work, this may not be the right fit. We've also been through some difficult chapters over the last few years, headcount reductions that were necessary but painful, and rebuilding trust after those moments takes time and consistency. We're in a new phase now and the possibilities are endless.
