A once great British Industy institution continues it's steady and drawn out decline in it's current incarnation. - Anonymous employee telent Employee Review

Pros

It's a great place to work if you can get in as a contractor. Due to poor management decisions, the company relies over heavily on contractors for long term work than in-house staff whilst desperately sending out missives to the staff that they must keep the costs down. Needless to say; the contractors have a lot of freedom, and earn more money than the staff. They'll probably be there just as long though.

Cons

Unfortunately the corporate culture has changed from being merely incompetant, to also being corrupt. There is little regard for the needs of the workforce, and there is an underlying mistrust of upper management by the rank and file staff who cannot shake the feeling that they're trying to raid the pension fund before stripping the assets.

Pros

Coming into my eighth year at telent, I have thoroughly enjoyed working here and couldn’t praise the company enough, they have supported me from serious family issues and my career has continually progressed, they have helped me develop myself and I am still being encouraged and trained to continue to improve which I feel I am doing, I feel a true loyalty to the company and the team I work within

Cons

Sometimes feel like there is a lack of support from various functions as the business is still growing
