I have been working at Entegee full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Depending on which division you work for the environment and people are actually really great and supportive, I'm coming up on 3 years at a division called Systems Pros. I have made a lot of strong friendships and learned a lot about the industry because I got in during a good time.

    Cons

Since re-org and the new COO was appointed he/they are turning this place into a sweat shop. They continue to lower the base pay of incoming and current employees, and they are making it nearly impossibly to make any money on commissions. I was billing $50k a week and I was still making less than 30k annual salary. They keep bringing in people only to have them quit a few weeks later once they do the math.

    Advice to Management

If you want to bring in quality hires and build retention, pay people what they are worth, don't lie to them. Focus more on training and quality SOP's, instead threatening people into "doing their job" making them work longer hours they won't be paid for, and stop trying to take shortcuts to evade taxes.

I have been working at Entegee full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Not sure. Seems to be a very popular company, 200 personnel, etc

    Cons

Unethical business practices. See reviews by others, at least 5 people, now myself as well. See my advice to Management below.

    Advice to Management

Stop your front line recruiters from trying to bypass legit recruiting industry confidentiality regulations. Do not ask candidates to share confidential job information between external recruiters at other firms and job prospects at your own company. Coordinate with recruiters to prevent these actions.

    Pros

The paychecks were on time and were sent weekly.
    Nothing much else to say...

    Cons

They misinformed me on the contract length.
They say anything to get you on board.
    Poor benefits for families
A lot of their on-site staff are unprofessional
    Do not care about contractors

    Advice to Management

Don't treat employees like cattle. Show some pride and improve benefits.

I worked at Entegee full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There are semi flex hours

    Cons

I had three project managers all of whom didn't know what projects you were already working on because of lack of communication so they assumed their project was a priority. Nearly every week I worked there a new person would be hired to replace the numerous people that were lucky enough to find a new job. Turn over is horrible. Worked there just over two years and very few people still remained when I left. When I quit I was told by two project managers that they were going to cancel my request to use my PTO, not because they were trying to be jerks but because they would just pay it all at once after I quit. They refuse to pay my PTO now that i'm gone. Anyone that works there is only there to do work and be used as much as possible, just another cog in the messed up Entegee office. Managers have no hesitation to point blame for failures that actually result from their lack of communication and organization. If you have any questions to ask a project manager good luck trying to get a few minutes of their time. They usually have their door closed, on the phone, or not there.

    Advice to Management

Perhaps there should not only be reviews of the employees but also of the project managers.

    Pros

Great team members. Friendly, challenging work environment. Above Average Income for the area.

Benefits used to be outstanding and have declined significantly in recent years.

    Advice to Management

    Create more training/leadership opportunities.

    Pros

There is good opportunity to make decent money.

    Cons

The office is set up for some people to succeed and for others fail.

    Advice to Management

Nothing that I would recommend at my level. I think that the upper management is excellent. Its the middle management that needs help.
