I have been working at Executive Jet Management full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They pay me on time. That does account for the one star.

The woodworking skills of management. Big, beautiful bowls and fantastic fingers.

Management's ability to pivot on a dime.

Thru the DiSC training, they were able to figure out exactly how to not manage me effectively and have really run with that. That takes some real diligence

I can record the drone of my managers talking to me to utilize as a sleep aid at night.

I now have a way to smite my enemies by getting them a job here.

    Cons

If management were a Yelp review? One star

    Advice to Management

Management training classes would be a start.

I worked at Executive Jet Management full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits are good
Good people (non-management) to work with

    Cons

Managers/Supervisors in Flight Operations expect ego's stroked daily, or you can find yourself another job
Company rules and policies are changed on an hourly basis
Managers/Supervisors in Flight Operations WILL NOT support employees and have no problem at all "throwing employees under the bus"
Any disagreement towards any policy or opinion and, again, you can find yourself another job
    No standard training
Managers/Supervisors do not have a tolerance for women; men and women are treated VERY differently
    Managers/Supervisors micromanage 24/7
    Highly toxic environment!
I would not wish this company on my worst enemy

    Advice to Management

More of a question.....How do you sleep at night treating employees the way you do?

I have been working at Executive Jet Management full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Excellent Health Benefits.
Pay -may- be good depending on your account.
    Great 401k match
    Excellent but overworked Director
    --- - - -

    Cons

    Poor Mangement
    No Employee Retention Plan
No Backup from customer service mangement
    Very Disorganized
Mangement cares very little about the workforce
Never has listened to pilots regarding changes needed internally.
Does not enforce their own flight and duty time rules and guidelines... forces the pilots to refuse the trips, then tells the aircraft owners the pilots are to blame.
Expense reports take 2. Months to get paid

    Advice to Management

Your running out of qualified pilots, come up with an employee retention plan. You need to work bottom up on helping pilots complete their trips safely and back them up when they make judgement calls. When an account is lost, you forget about the employees assigned, no help at all finding new work - that must change.

I have been working at Executive Jet Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Excellent Benefits
    Great people to work with
    Good shift hours
    Great experience starting company

    Cons

Managers make up rules on daily basis
Managers WILL NOT stick their necks out for you.
Managers tend to belittle/ intimidate/ bully employees who express a dislike of any kind- HR is useless. You are on your own.
Managers tend to go overboard when fixing "holes in the system" and often make working conditions difficult in that process
Managers and upper management have no problem "throwing employees under the bus" to help themselves

    Advice to Management

Doesnt matter what advice you give them, they do not care and will do what is best for themselves.

I have been working at Executive Jet Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Friendly work environment
    - President isn't hard to reach and is always around
    - Benefits are stellar
    - Has tons of employee picnic appreciation type deals
    - Managers will stick their head out for you

    Cons

    - Still in a deep growth process
    - Managers tend to micromanage at times
    - Company seems to make up and address things as they go.
    - No sense of planning
    - The layers of management are quite confusing and unnecessary
    - Opportunity for promotion and growth is very low

    Advice to Management

Plan a lot better, hold meetings to have discussions on efficiency on getting things done. Because managers often don't do the SAME work that their employees do, so telling someone to change and do something else can cloud many things.

I worked at Executive Jet Management full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Awesome schedule, 3 13 hour days. 4 days off every week. Not for everyone but for me it was great. The benefits were super and 401k match was the best. The pay was good too. I worked with some of the best mechanics in the business. The sunrise out the hangar door in the morning was beautiful.

    Cons

Repair station shut down, so aircraft maintenance is no longer performed there. Such a shame, I would have worked the rest of my career there.

    Advice to Management

Allow aircraft maintenance to be performed there again. I would go back in a heartbeat.

    Cons

Minimal opportunity for advancement without transferring to different departments. Hangar maintenance no longer being performed there.

    Advice to Management

Reopen hangar maintenance and I would be back immediately.
