Cons

-Took me through a 5 interview process for two positions, the second position was not the original one I applied for -Were absolutely set on not negotiating salary at all with employees and PAY IS WAY BELOW INDUSTRY STANDARDS -Changed my schedule to accommodate other team members in other time zones who aren't even in my same position so that they can probably cut training costs/laziness. HR reached out and told me that their employment contract outlines that your schedule can be changed at ANYTIME to fit company needs. -When I said I couldn't change to that schedule due to care-taking every morning, HR revoked my employment without even reaching out to me to speak about it first. -Literally have ZERO value for their current and prospective employees. Company only cares about profit/loss and is going through a rough period as explained by their President in one of my interviews. -Told them about an upcoming trip and they used it against me to revoke my employment? I guess standard practice isn't accepted at this company? Not sure who trained their HR/Management but again its CLEAR that they DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR EMPLOYEES!!!! I took this opportunity even with all of these red flags to just get some higher level experience under my belt, but just listen to your gut. This company is literally terrible and this experience has been terrible. They have an extremely old school mentality and it shows from the entire process. Overall this is the worst and weirdest experience I've ever had with a company and after all of this it is clear that their company is STRUGGLING badly.

Pros

CEO is amazing to work with.

Cons

Your experience will highly depend on your manager. Some managers are so awful that it's impossible to work with them. There are team that have huge turnovers because of it and the upper management doesn't do anything about it.

Meaningful work overshadowed by overwork and recurring layoffs

Pros

Great colleagues! Employees are hard-working people dedicated to their jobs. Decent benefits, PTO, generous 401K.

Cons

There is much misalignment with their international parent company who govern US operations without consideration for US market trends. Over the last 3 years, one CEO resigned and the next CEO walked out with no notice. The homegrown LMS system requires lots of manual processing which produces unreliable data. Many of the tools used for company operations require lots of manual processing or simply aren't a good fit for our industry. We couldn't always honor basic industry standard customer requests. There are rounds of layoffs nearly every year, sometimes twice/year. The company strategy, product strategy, go-to-market strategy changed often, making it difficult to plan, execute, and gain success. Fast Lane had a "Retention Committee" within the last 5 years but changed it to twice yearly employee satisfaction surveys.
