Pros

they will preach culture and tell you it’s basically Disneyland. They do indeed have all the things on the outside that you may be looking for. But buyer beware......

Cons

The further you go in the company you realize it’s not all that it’s cracked up to be. Everyone is over worked and under paid. They talk about work life balance and when confronted about it the President, Jim, will say it’s up to your team leader to reduce the workload or my favorite “you shouldn’t feel like you can’t leave and if you feel that way then you need to bring it up” but when you do nothing is done about it. The same people get tapped on the shoulder over and over. For the last 10 years they’ve said they will fix it and they haven’t. They’ve recently lost a lot of good people due to their poor leadership and poor pay. They say they promote from within however the entire leadership team has been hired from the outside. It took them 29 years to hire the first female leadership team member. They allowed two great female team members to leave because they wouldn’t pay them what they were worth and they wouldn’t promote them because they were female. Everyone knows they HAD to hire the female LT member to look good. Also the LT has a lot wrong with them. At a non work function a member of the LT was trying to take a picture up one of the female employees skirts. They often make sexual and inappropriate comments. They are a ‘good ol boys club’. Recently a few of the female employees tried to get maternity leave benefits and was told by an LT member that women don’t need maternity leave it’s not that hard to have a baby and that’s why we have disability. 60% of pay is enough when they aren’t contributing to the bottom line. when approached about going back to school to get their masters degree an LT member asked the team member how she was going to go back to school when she needed to take care of her kids. There is so much more that I could say that is going on that not everyone knows about. They use their culture as a crutch to hide the disgusting behavior of the LT team. I am actively looking for a new job because of this stuff and hope to be out of here soon. Don’t work here or be fooled by the fake culture. It’s just smoke in mirrors.

We are sorry to hear that your experience at Field was less than ideal. There are many times during the year where customer demands and increasing business will have an impact on the volume of work that needs to be completed. However that is balanced by increased flexibility during slower times of the year. Quarterly surveys, feedback, and best-employer awards all indicate the success of Field is felt by the team as a whole. Our benefit options are reviewed annually to ensure we're providing the most effective programs available to our team. Regarding the unprofessional behaviors mentioned, please report those issues and concerns to Human Resources when they occur so that they can be addressed and resolved appropriately. We stand by our team and our culture, and respectfully disagree with the claims on this review.

Pros

There are some nice people in this company, a great office space, free snacks/drinks, owners who do seem to care.

Cons

This company is a popularity contest. There is a lot of politicking going on that the LT can not see and fully enjoy. If you are not joking around and getting called "Dawg" by the president you are most likely not in the inner circle. There is 1 team lead who doesn't have the ability to lead outside of pushing all the negatives onto others yet they are held up as examples of greatness.
