Pros

Excellent opportunity to choose your hours and games. They pay is great per hour. You also have the opportunity to interact with some great people who love the sport of soccer. You form close relationships with the members of your team. This leads to great leadership development. Younger referees also have the opportunity to have older referees as their assistants.

Cons

Older members are given more priority even if they are not as skillful as the younger referees. Only a few of the younger referees even have the opportunity to prove that they may be more skillful than some older members.
