Pros

Collegial atmosphere with smart, engaged and overall caring colleagues. Good compensation. Overall strong culture, at least as far as companies in the corporate training/for profit education space, and overall strong commitment to customers. Solid sense of growth, though slow growth.

Cons

Not always organized, and poor planning and communication sometimes, probably too often, leads to stress and missed opportunities. Sometimes friction between head and local offices.

Pros

Its a job that pays

Cons

- Male dominated upper management who view females as just support staff - Toxic culture, unbearable work load - As a training company who claims to be the best, there is no training for employees on how to do the job. You have to figure everything out on your own with no documentation on processes and systems. - Ancient computer programs, lots of manual work - Stingy management when it comes to pay and bonuses. - Apallingly low pay scale. Way below market rate.

Terrible, Just Don't

Pros

When I first starting working at Fitch, there was a strong, tight knit group. Most of them had all left for better opportunities or were wrongfully fired by the time I left. I would say the ONE good thing about working at Fitch are the benefits. Can't beat good free healthcare.

Cons

You will be fed a lot of false hope, and end up feeling used and unappreciated by management. If you work here you are just a number, nobody cares about your ideas or needs. If you are ever asked for input on ways to improve, don't waste your time or energy. Nobody really cares.
