Pros

- You get to learn about how the Gas Industry works - Early on, work is deceptively simple - Pay is okay - Good PTO policy - Possibility to jump ship to a better position at Wood Mackenzie

Cons

- Mind numbingly dull job - LOW RETENTION - You are on-call, with rotating on-call role for weekends - Either you like the Gas Industry or you don’t - No analyst work involved at all - You’re essentially a glorified data entry person, required to enter data in excel sheets and websites in a high pressure time sensitive environment. - The lives of managers are absolutely consumed by this job, they are essentially on-call all the time (until new hires can be trained) and are constantly stressed - If you’re new you get all the work that everyone that came before you absolutely hates - You don’t really learn many transferrable skills - They want you to go into the office in the name of work-culture, but it’s really a job you don’t need to be in the office for at all
