      Pros

      Large non-profit with lots of schedule flexibility and lots of programs. I saw them be very accommodating with some employees. Good way to get entry-level experience in social services. Management is okay, with some better than others.

      Cons

      Very large staff, sometimes strange alliances on the staff, and some long-time employees act like they 'run the place', and you have to adjust to them rather than compromise. Also very, very limited growth opportunities for non-Social Workers.

      Pros

      Only pro is that you get lots of time off and vacation, but the managers are so awful they get annoyed when you take any. I know people who kept having days roll over as they couldn't take a single day off.

      Cons

      The management is awful. Very rude and demeaning. They do not stand for anything they claim to care about. They don't pay well either and want you to take on mass amounts of extra work just to get paid a reasonable wage.There are also very little growth opportunities. Managers are almost never in the office either.

      Pros

      Best thing about this job is the vacation time (4 weeks) and insurance policy for an INDIVIDUAL. Everything else is terrible. Management is toxic and disorganized. Not a place you want to stay.

      Cons

      - Management is very shady behind your back and has a problematic thought process towards clients and staff. - High turnover (people constantly getting fired in a very unprofessional manner, those that are good don't want to stay) - No work-life balance - Low pay - Minimal development and guidance - Poor communication One word: TOXIC!!!!
