Enjoyable work, decent pay, great coworkers.

Cons

Transitional management difficulties that came and went. They were always trying to improve, it was hit or miss with that.

Pros

Newer office equipment, nice office Worked with some good contractors That’s about it

Cons

Parent company overall is a scam. The business model not conducive to those trying to provide customers with quality home improvement projects. Immense pressure from above to meet $$ deadlines which drives cost up for customers wherever they can on projects. Quarterly deadlines that are designed for failure so they can move on to the next unsuspecting sucker (hefty franchise setup fees etc) Lack of training Lack of working industry knowledge and/or necessary resources by owners I.e. materials or accounts for materials.. Use you while it helps them get business off the ground while using the ole “performance improvement plan” immediately so they have grounds for firing you to hire someone else for dollars less per hour.

Thank you for sharing your perspective. At Handyman Connection, we take all feedback seriously as we strive to maintain a supportive environment for our employees and quality service for our customers. While we appreciate your comments regarding our office facilities and our contractors, we find many of the concerns raised in your review inconsistent with the typical scope and responsibilities of a Customer Service Representative. Our CSRs focus on administrative support and client communication; detailed corporate financials, such as franchise setup fees and parent-company quarterly deadlines, are generally managed at a different organizational level. We are committed to fair labor practices and transparent business operations. The "Performance Improvement Plan" is a tool we use specifically to support employee growth and professional development, rather than a means to lower wages. We pride ourselves on the longevity of our team members and the success of our franchisees. We wish you the best in your future professional endeavors. The Home Office Team, Handyman Connection
