I have been working at Harding University full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Most fulk time employees receive huge tuition discoints on undergraduate courses and many graduate programs. That alone is an amazing benefit, not to mention the spouse and child discount and affordable insurance. Working environment is the best I've had.

    Cons

The University is growing quickly, but many employees who have worked at Harding for years are slow to adapt to this change. It can be difficult to get past the "we've always done it this way" or "this is fine for now" mentality.

    Advice to Management

Actively cultivate the employee culture you would like to see.

I have been working at Harding University part-time

    Pros

Fantastic professors who make working a pleasure, friendly students; work that is challenging, great experience, enough routine to feel consistent, but enough change to keep it interesting. Ideal job for a grad student with Spanish, French, or Italian language experience (languages currently offered at HU).

    Cons

Must be enrolled in at least 9 hours of graduate classes, which is unfortunate if you don't need that many classes that semester.
