    Pros

Such a great company to work for. The people are amazing, you can talk to anyone, have all the resources you need, really streamlined business practices to help you do your job well. Culture is awesome with a true family feel. Flexible with the understanding of how busy you can be with on-site, driving, etc. The events are beautiful too!

    Cons

Pay is pretty low for the amount of hours actually spent working. Burnout is real

    Cons

lots of fast paced and demanding work, often had to stay late to deal with last minute needs from clients and your managers, juggling a lot of projects at once

    Pros

The Nashville GM was amazing, the corporate office was always pushing to enhance our culture, the perks of the events industry were great. It was nice working for an organization who used expertise to empower their team members and wouldn't allow clients to bully them.

    Cons

The hours can be long, but it's part of the industry you're in. You have to make your work like balance and be proactive about taking the time you need.

    Don’t Be Fooled

    Pros

Get to be part of cool events. Opportunity for advancement if you’re “in good” with the right people.

    Cons

Let me count the ways: Even though mostly women work there, upper management is a boys’ club. The couple of females in upper management were left out of activities because the focus was on the men. Complete lack of integrity, even though they pretend that it’s one of their core values. Sales people are treated like gods...if they’re bringing in the numbers it doesn’t matter how crappy they treat their team. An incredible amount of wasted time during the work day. People would rather gossip around the office or shop online for hours at a time. Favoritism, favoritism, favoritism. Whether that be who gets a bonus or how much, who gets to advance to higher positions, etc. They treat their account coordinators like crap. They enjoy the job because they’re young and starting their career by working on cool events. All the coordinators are about the same age so they have their cliques, which makes the job easier. But long hours for little pay, no attempts at recognition like other jobs in the company, and you better hope you get on a good sales person’s team or God help you. It’s a well known secret that you don’t go to HR about anything work-related in terms of your manager or a favorite employee, otherwise you’re done for. Unspoken rule, which is just preposterous.
