A salesperson can earn significant commissions if they perform. Install schedules are usually short and done well.

Cons

They have an expectation that sales people will not last, and therefore sales people are treated that way from the day you enter the door for an interview until you leave, even as a top performer. Somewhat of a self fulfilling prophecy...

You get experience on what not to do

They hire only those with no solar experience so they can take advantage of them when they sale. They don't disclose pay structure til last day of training. Then you take appts. They use you as a 1st contract, without the ability to give the best price.... They then pass on to their 2-3 senior guys to make the sale.... the whole business model is set up to screw the new hires... They leave within weeks, but company makes money on all their sales.... their prices are the highest in the industry. Its a slime ball way to do business....shame on all that work there especially the leadership
