What started out as a "Family" business and subsidiaries has morphed into a very toxic corporate culture where the humanity of running a business is gone. The folks with their last name over the door have handed the keys over to someone that seems more interested in bringing in friends from The Mohawk Group rather than keeping the culture what it was and don't seem to care about the impact . The HR department is there but has no function. The concern that used to be there for employee's well-being is gone. There are new managers running departments that have no idea what they are doing but obviously have the job because they have connections, The sales team not only has to win the deals but then needs to fight for the commission already earned. The turnover is growing. I personally know of several people actively looking to exit. They do not conduct exit interviews because they don't care and there is no correction of bad behavior on the part of management. They give you the impression that action will be taken but never is.
