I have been working at ICL Group full-time

    Pros

People are nice and work is challenging, fast paced.

    Cons

Economic outlook doesn't look good for commodity products. Downturn in fertilizer market could affect future of the company. Focus is exclusively on cost-cutting to service debts. No potential growth strategy communicated. All decisions made in Israel, irrespective of regional outlook.

    Advice to Management

Leverage your global team members for diversity of thought and embrace a work culture that values work/life balance.

I have been working at ICL Group full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

There are some good individuals trying hard to make this company stronger.

    Cons

The leadership of this organization provides no strategic direction. Over the past year, ICL has removed or reduced many of its benefits and does not respond to local concerns from employees. Women are not given an equal opportunity to advance. As a result, we have lost many good people and more will follow.

    Advice to Management

Think before you act and make bad decisions.

I have been working at ICL Group full-time

    Pros

There are really no pros to this job beside a paycheck which isn't that great and decent benefits. Nothing else.

    Cons

Inept management. They are clueless on how to run a business. The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. Miracle the business is still running. Culture is terrible. Workers hate coming into work.

    Advice to Management

    Quit

    Pros

Lots of great people here to work with.
There are career development opportunities here and the management will guide you if you have the drive.
The pay here, to my knowledge, is comparable if not better than other businesses in the area.
It's an international company with global opportunities.
    401k plan here is great!

    Cons

There are cubicles instead of an open-office policy and the office is fairly bland looking.
There are not really any particularly attractive benefits.
Limited freedom with decisions that could affect ICL's brand due to the company being based in Israel.

    Advice to Management

ICL is going through a lot of changes right now but eventually one of those changes should be a change to the business environment. I believe having an open-office policy would make coming to work even more enjoyable

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at ICL Group full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The company is in the middle of a massive project to change from many small somewhat independent companies around the world into one company with systems to allow for significant improvements for both the employees and customers. The primary focus of the project is to change from many ERP systems into one global SAP system.

ICL is also putting significant amounts of money into preparing for the future and most of this investment is outside of Israel (home base).

    Cons

There is a lot of work being done on this project and people are stretched. This short term pain will payoff big dividends in future years.

The combination of big spending on projects and depressed prices in some products is putting a stress on cash flow so the company has been looking to cut costs. This too has put some stress on people but this is a normal cycle of most business.

    Advice to Management

Keep pushing forward with the Harmonization project. The sooner this gets completed globally the faster we all benefit!

    Pros

It's a good starting job, but nothing more

    Cons

The hours can be a bit long, with very little overtime pay.

    Advice to Management

Try to put more into your employees with better raises and pay. They are part of the company as well.
