    I worked at ITV full-time

    Pros

I worked at ITV Studios UK for a decade and the company gave me the opportunity to work my way up from PA to Producer on some of the UK's biggest live shows.

I have made friends for life their, working as part of many tight-knit teams over they years.

ITV UK has a good benefits package and offers a reasonable bonus once a year - for those who have worked a full 12 months.

    Cons

The opportunities to work across different departments could be made easier - it's okay to have sabbaticals within your own department but if you want to move from Daytime to Entertainment then I was faced with having to hand my notice in an reapplying for a position in the other department. Having worked so hard for the company over the years, I (and many other colleagues) had hoped that this crossover would be easier.

    Advice to Management

Keep an open dialogue with your staff - lots of change at ITV UK right now and people are worried for their jobs.

    Cons

HR for timecard issues is in another building. You have to park in the shopping structure

I worked at ITV full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Was one of the best places to work with people who respected one another and worked well together.

    Cons

Evolving company where corporate management in the UK made some questionable decisions.

    Advice to Management

Work on getting back on track to being a high quality content company where people want to work.

    I worked at ITV full-time

    Pros

nice people that are fun to work with... i think there is good room to grow, but it definitely takes some time to grow in the company

    Cons

the mall that ITV is in doesn't have many food options, so bring your own lunch... not many other cons

    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at ITV (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Lots of fun shows in production, lots of good people to work and network among

    Cons

If you're on a non-union show, expect long hours, low pay and little oversight of showrunners

    Advice to Management

Most people in this business are prepared to work nights and weekends. After all, the show must go on. But comp days (that you often can't take anyway because you're working) don't help pay the bills or make missing time with family easier to justify.
