I have been working at JASA full-time

    Pros

Holidays Benefits Free School Clients Encounters Colleagues

    Cons

    Pay pay pay bad management

    Advice to Management

Learn to admit when you're wrong. Don't abuse power. Keep it professional. Supervisors need to learn their place. The managers/directors don't need a parrot. Managers/directors need not contradict themselves by presenting themselves as open, yet when confronted with their actions, they twist the situation and make you seem like you're argumentative. Stop allowing certain people to come in 15-30 min late... every day, fraternize with you and then not be penalized. Stop allowing those same people to leave early and your supervisor says nothing. Stop allowing your supervisors to speak inappropriately to staff and out loud in the office. JASA the company is decent, but you have some pretty indecent management that mask their personal vendettas with smiles. Staff should be routinely asked how their being treated in their workplace.

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at JASA full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Very fulfilling job. Pay is great since the raise in 2017.

    Cons

Supervisors do not try to work with social workers. It was not a healthy working environment. No employee appreciation. Outreach became mandatory even though it was not in the job description. Policies are always changing. There are not many opportunities for growth.

    Advice to Management

Care about your staff more and not just the numbers and deadlines.
