I worked at Java City (More than a year)

    Pros

Pleased to work there! It was a great job experience and would go back for more money but all good things come to an end

    Cons

I can't really think of many reasons why I didn't like it all and all it was just money that sent me away

I worked at Java City full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It was nice getting to know your coworkers, whom where mostly students on campus and also the faculty and staff. The job itself was pretty easy because of the breaks that you get when the students and staff are in class.

    Cons

Because of the breaks, time goes by extremely slow, so me and my coworkers spent a lot of time cleaning.

    Advice to Management

I don't have any, it was a fun job.

I have been working at Java City part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The atmosphere is very friendly. I love working with fellow students on the college campus. It's great that the café is able to work around my class schedule so that I can still work and get my schoolwork done.

    Cons

Sometimes the ordering process for our stock is complicated to fill out since it goes through the campus dining services, but it's never too bad.

I worked at Java City part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A pro while being employed at Java City were that they truly valued their customers, they understand that there is a lot of competition between coffee shops and they appreciate the business they are granted.

    Cons

A personal complaint of Java City is that there were too many supervisors that were power hungry. No one wants to be bossed around. Also pay is LOW.

    Advice to Management

Just to communicate more efficiently with employees.

    Pros

Super fun, fast paced, great products. I loved who I worked with and I loved the environment. My manager was fabulous but she longer works there. I worked there for over two years and it was one of my favorite jobs.

    Cons

This is more of a high school / college job. The pay is low and there isn't room to grow. Big gap between the store and upper management.

    Advice to Management

Come work in the store occasionally during the morning rush.
