I have been working at Johnson Service Group (IL) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great training initially and weekly SVP Team Lead and SVP onsite. Great staff. Office cohesion is amazing. Corporate is very supportive. Leadership will go to bat for you if they see a real drive in you. Military friendly.Very exciting once you get rolling and listen actively..

    Cons

There really are no cons. The SVP in my region is a very good, yet stern Leader. He pushes and impresses upon us that is ours to win or lose. So if you do not want to be pushed to win, then this not for your. Defining Polices in Writing would be my only advice

    Advice to Management

I am not in a leadership position, so I do not know all of the aspects of their position and what goes on behind close doors, so I do not think my advice is important. I would like to say you for hiring me and teaching me a new trade.

    Cons

None at this time. JSG continues to bring its employees the most solid benefits on the market

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing

I worked at Johnson Service Group (IL) full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The staffing manager, Jim Halvorson, is a foremost expert at all technical levels of staffing. In addition to this, he truly cares about the happiness and success of his employees and is creating a professional culture that likes to have fun too.

From Day One, Jim will do everything he can to help you get better, and in turn, help you to make as much money as you put into the role.

If you work hard and put into practice the type of recruiting and business development work JSG is teaching, you will succeed and you will be rewarded and you will feel rewarded.

From an executive level, Ken Slater and Jim Filarski (among others) are some of the most effective business leaders in the engineering and technical staffing industry.

Ken has 30 years of experience at every level in that business and I would challenge you to find someone who understands the staffing business as well as Ken.

While he has done extremely well for himself and the company,, Ken still treats every employee in an extremely humble manner.

My experience at JSG was invaluable, and I highly recommend the organization to anyone who wants to do great things in their career.

    Cons

If you are a hunter who is motivated to do great things, provide for yourself and your family, this is the place for you.

If you are someone who wants to clock in to make an easy paycheck and really has no desire to do succeed in the workplace, JSG is not for you.

    Advice to Management

Call me if you visit Colorado, so I can buy you a beer or two!

I worked at Johnson Service Group (IL) (More than a year)

    Pros

The pay is pretty good for a temporary position and after the initial signing of the paperwork I never really had to go back to their location. They did automatic deposits to my bank and offered a couple different health packages that I could choose.

    Cons

The health packages did seem a bit pricey and there was only a month to decide if you wanted to sign up for them otherwise you were out of luck.

    Advice to Management

A better contract would be great as the hours allowed per term were very limited and there was really no hope of being hired on full time by the agency I worked for.
