I have been working at Kessler Collection full-time

    Pros

I love the incentives that are given to the employees. They care about wellness, education and training. They have programs that help give back to their grand performers and I think that puts them above other companies. Movement happens quickly too, if you work hard people will notice.

    Cons

I'd love for the tuition reimbursement program to evolve, but I am happy they even offer a program like this!

    Advice to Management

Keep training and taking care of your people :)

I have been working at Kessler Collection full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I love my job! Some of these negative reviews are clearly disgruntled ex employees or if they are still employed, they are probably part of the problem! What a shame.

No job I’ve ever had was perfect. This is a great place to work, they pay me on time, they treat me with respect and I do think the managers care.

The people, including the corporate people are nice and approachable.

Don’t believe the drama! If you are smart, can get to work on time, and not afraid of doing a good job, then you will like it here.

    Cons

Benefits are expensive. It’s hard to afford the benefits package if you have kids especially since you have to pay up front. I wish that would improve.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work and have fun.

I worked at Kessler Collection full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They treat non-manager employees very well, they offer paid time off.

    Cons

You don't want to move up in the company; they do *not* treat their managers well. It is night and day, how they treat regular employees vs. managers. I've watched good managers lose heart after a couple of months, and then they leave.

    Advice to Management

Treat your management better! If you treat management better, your company will be much better off.

    Pros

Growth Opportunity, Internal promotion, Great training program, Fun work environment, Competitive compensation, Strong company culture

    Cons

It takes a while to get through the interview/hiring process but it's worth the wait. It's hard to have a good work/life balance in the hospitality industry they're definitely better than other places I've worked.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work!

Occasionally they can be slow to follow through with commitments to current employees when it comes to helping get the training necessary to continue advancing a career of a highly driven individual.

    Advice to Management

    Pros

Good Location. Close to public transportation.

    Cons

Huge corporate office micromanages every tiny detail at our hotel. But they make no business sense and are the whims of the COO who has little operational experience and creates a bubble of fear for those around her. Corporate HR demeans employees who are treated with no respect and they are not truthful. A few of the reviews here were written by them. They love doing surprise inspections to show you how bad you are. The have no trust in anyone.

    Advice to Management

    Hire a professional COO.
