    I have been working at Kuwait University full-time

    Pros

    Good salary (12 months), opportunities to make more, no tenure deadline.

    Cons

    Poor work ethics, limited research opportunities, very few graduate students, tons of admin work.

    Advice to Management

    Lower teaching load, encourage research.

    Pros

    Kuwait University being a public university is well funded and has lots of programs that serve to help the students compete in the global landscape.

    Cons

    Tons of bureaucracy leads to slow implementation of any proposed process or program.

    Advice to Management

    Get more driven individuals to work at the university and open to hiring non-Kuwaitis.

    Good to start your career, stable and job security

    Cons

    limited innovation, career path is not clear, fixed salaries and limited growth, almost no training

    Take care of your employees, Reward and recognition system, create positive environment

    Lots of events and activities on campus.

    Promotions are mainly based on seniority, and performance won't make much difference.

    Stress and tension free job, and not much work pressure, fixed work timings and you will get all public holidays
