Pros

They offered competitive pay. VP and AP are very talented, bringing in plenty of projects and keep clients happy. Your talent will be of great value. Good bonus twice a year based on performance. Managers create opportunities for growth and promotion from within. All you need to do is to work with your heart and be a great team player. Great people, cultural food events that bring employees together - Thanksgiving Potluck, year end party on a boat, volunteer, halloween costume contest, pumpkin carving competition, etc

Cons

Not for everybody. Fast paced, requires quick learning or experience, or willingness to learn and grow.

Pros

Productive working environment. I keep reading negative reviews but now I am don't work there, I must say I miss it. I miss it because they never left you alone when issues arise and because they really have knowledge and, most importantly, experience in the real world. I collaborated with great team members and team leaders. My team was very attentive to the needs of the staff in order to have successful completions of projects which is the ultimate goal in the architectural business. I have nothing but gratitude. Lessard Design shaped me and thought me how to be serious, committed and to give the very best of me. Good luck to the current staff. And to those former coworkers sharing bad experiences, my best wishes wherever you landed. I hate to see negative feedback but as an outsider I can tell you that you reap what you sow. I hope your next job is all what you need to be a better professional and self being - and hopefully your potential new employers don't get negative feedback when you decide to leave them! : )

Cons

With larger design firms, it can move a bit slower by nature. More people are working on projects means more processes, procedures, and levels of approval. Architecture Firm's typically involve a much greater degree of movement than other lines of work. Most days, you will spend your day walking, running errands for your business, and performing a multitude of tasks which can end in longer than usual days but it's ultimate your decision how to control that balance. If you are seeking a job where you can get your headphones and be on contemplating the sunset, work 8 hours and don't get interrupted, I think you are simply in the incorrect professional field here or in China.
