Pros

A fantastic opportunity for recent graduates to gain industry experience and knowledge. The hybrid setup is ideal because it eliminates the dreadful Manila commute. When it comes to vacation and sick days, the management is also generous and lenient. They also allow you to come in later if you had to work late the day before. The leaders of the major services are knowledgeable and trustworthy.

Cons

Human resources is flawed because there is a senior employee who is clearly incompetent and unfit for the role, but she continues to be given opportunities and leadership positions.

Pros

- great people to work with, almost all are in their 20s - company always strives for innovation and improvement, and it continues to evolve - great if you value autonomy or being in control of your work and hate being micro-managed, as long as you provide good results - you can actually see improvement if you raise any issues; there were a lot of changes in recent years - hybrid working arrangement, with the option of being fully WFH - Philippine branch is located along Ayala Ave and easy to access; office looks nice - lots of potential for growth if you're passionate about the industry and as a leader/pioneer i.e. there's really no other local translation company that can compare much - relatively fair salary, with a comprehensive scheme for evaluation, promotion, rewards, and salary increase

Cons

- since it's a small company and w/ the current conditions of the translation industry in the Philippines, don't expect much career advancement if you're the type who wants to go with the flow - headquarters are in South Korea, so there are language and cultural barriers - you're gonna work w/ foreigners, and the CEO is a foreigner as well, so if you're pretty sensitive or can't take blunt comments you might get easily offended - some people might not like the constantly evolving work and company structure, or they might find it unstable - again, it's a relatively small company (at least the PH branch is) so you might be approached for tasks that will be outside your job description

Pros

This is the one company that doesn't discriminate and scrimp on employees. Whether one is fresh from college or has been a working professional for decades, they offer a fair chance of entering, growing, and leading in the organization. Its Korean headquarters is steady and supportive. The Philippine branch is prospering because it has the country's most amazing talents and brains (and egoless, to boot!). They have a China office that will most likely wow Asia in the next few years. Other offices are set to be established, so it's an exciting time to be in and stay with this company. I could only hope for the best for Lexcodians because that's what they truly deserve.

Cons

The still growing company that it is, there are expected difficulties to undergo in terms of finding, testing, and developing technology appropriate to staff, clients, and the booming industry.
