I worked at MedSpeed full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If their are any pros about this company I didn't expirence it during my employment their and I'm being honest about that.

    Cons

Can't speak to other areas but the Charlotte, N.C. locations is a complete disaster. Management want listen to input and when things go wrong what they were warn about they play the blame game. Came in not knowing anything about the geographical area of NC and SC and completely screwed up routes having drivers going from one end of the state to the other screwing up medical labs and supplies. Management completely suck micro managing and was more concern about what drivers were doing than making sure that jobs were getting done. The turnover is tremendous to the point they have too use outside contractors to do most of the work load not too mention the pay sucks. Horrible place to work because you will be answering to people who know less about what you are suppose to be doing than you. If you are in desperate need of a job then go for it but by all means continue to look cause this place is as uncertain as the lottery.

    Advice to Management

Good people deserve to be compensated well especially if they are helping you hold on to your contract.

I worked at MedSpeed full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

This was an easy job. Pick up and deliver items for healthcare systems. I met good people and was be of service for those in need in my job. Supervisors are awesome.

    Cons

Human resources is non existent. There is no direct number to actually speak with anyone. When you do get a call back they seem to make up policy as they go. Very inconsistent, and only interested in themselves. Pay is capped, 5% raise year 1 & 2, no raises thereafter, only cost of living. Little room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

BE HONEST! Listen to the LSR's who do the work day in and out. Make the general managers accountable along with human resources. Right now they only care about covering their own behind. They say one thing then do another.

I worked at MedSpeed full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

schedule if you get an AM shift and no weekends.

    Cons

management is weak, they will expect you to do the work in your own and if goes wrong they will fire you, no communication between clients and office, they will prioritize the client not the employee, underpaid, and depending of the route you will do some physical work.

    Advice to Management

train better your employees, communicate with the clients in a better way, listen to you drivers.

    Pros

None and none and none and none

    Cons

Worst company ive ever wasted my time for. Pay is way below market value. You nothing more than a cow in the heard they like to milk every dime out of your time. Some days I dont even have time to stop and take a good dump.

    Advice to Management

Do a google search for average courier/delivery driver salaries...youre off, youre way off!

I have been working at MedSpeed full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I can only speak for my location in Boise, ID, but the management team is very professional and polite. They are also fairly flexible with work hours and schedules. In addition the schedules are generally fixed and do not flip-flop like other places I've worked.

    Cons

Low pay. They pay is $1-$2 less per hour than many other driver/courier services in my area, even when including quarterly bonuses. I took this position because I did not have any previous "driving" experience. Otherwise I may have looked elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

I have noticed some turnover at my location. Although I can't speak to the individual reasons, I believe that bringing pay more inline with market value could help prevent this.
