      Pros

Exposure to innovation due to close relationship with tech partners.

      Cons

no work-life balance. very little amount of PTO. they think they advocate for mental health but they really don't do anything like giving more time off, more flexible work hours, etc. It's really just for PR but not genuine care about employees. Promotion isn't based on your performance but based on if your client pays more to create that position. I find this very discouraging because at the end of the day, it's all for the client vs. the people. They think they are diversity advocates but there really isn't diversity of representation. They just did a program for with 25 employees that you can talk to if you are struggling with mental health. Out of these 25, one was Asian and none of them black. Where is the diversity here?

Nonexistent Work/Life Balance, Shady Leadership, Good Experience

      Pros

-Working for big clients is a good career & resume booster -Learned a lot -Emphasis on training & opportunities to cross train into other areas -Director level & below are overall good to work with and very team oriented. Team members want you to succeed and won't step on your neck to get ahead. -Big budgets if you work for a big brand so you get a lot of experience -Most of the clients were reasonable but they expect a lot -401K matching was pretty good -You get extra days off in addition to your PTO like 6 Summer Fridays and 3 personal days. The 2 weeks from Christmas to New Years the office is closed but it's mostly work from home. I never had a day off request rejected. -Snacks -Social opportunities if you work with vendors like concerts and events

      Cons

-Unmanageable workload. We were constantly understaffed so MediaCom could improve their bottom line. Expect to work a ton of overtime - this is part of the company culture so if you don't everyone will think you're lazy & they'll have to pick up your slack. -High turnover rate. They lose a lot of good talent due to overworking, bad compensation, office politics, and bad leadership. -Underpaid at every level Director level & below (since people are mad about it & turnover is high, a lot are willing to share their salaries to coworkers they're close to) -Extremely difficult to get promoted even with positive reviews from Directors & clients (excuses include - it's coming (just wait), office politics, it's not in the budget (until you quit - then they find it if you're worth keeping)) -Bad health insurance if you have to see specialists. Even with the highest tier insurance I paid 20% out of pocket even in network + a deductible. Preventative coverage & the number of in network doctors was good. -Leadership (above director level) will lie and talk about you behind your back (even if you're junior level) while being nice and supportive to your face. They think senior people are more loyal to them than they are so often it will get back to you but since they're running the company you can't say anything. -Toxic "hustle culture" that's fostered there will make you believe it's normal to be treated poorly, underpaid, and work a ton of OT. Many other companies will pay you a lot more to work a lot less.

Not the best job, but makes ends meet for a first job out of college

      Pros

Pushes for diversity and hires with little experience/ new graduates.

      Cons

With very little time off, micromanagement from managers, extremely low salary wage, you only see the diversity within the low-income positions- not senior level. You are overworked and barely compensated.
