I have been working at Methodist Health System (More than 10 years)

    Pros

My co-workers are wonderful. I enjoy coming to work each day. My immediate supervisor is a pleasure to work with. She allows us to be a team and utilize our talents to make a difference for our patients. I feel like I know the vision senior leaders have for this organization and I'm part of the team that makes it happen.

    Cons

I have no complaints worth expressing.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing exactly what you are doing. We have a good product.

I have been working at Methodist Health System full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They do not fire employees easily even if everyone around them as resigned due to this individual. In fact, they will portray the competent ones as incompetent if that means the competent employee doesn't challenge their views.

    Cons

    > Your skin color matters --> You can only go up with you are white
    > Leadership is dishonorable --> They will take credit for all good and blame you for everything that goes wrong.
    > They are repercussions for voicing your opinion
    > Leadership will blindsight you and turn around and tell you not to blindsight them
    > Leadership is not honest --> they will lie to everyone to get there way and will setup employees they dont like so they fail

    Advice to Management

    > Grow your top employees/recognize their potential
    > Stop giving funding to a department if they fail at a task --> it encourages the high performing people & department to not work. Its rewarding bad behavior.
    > Listen to challenging new ideas--> who knows--> one of those could take MHS to the next level.
    > There is no growht opportunity --> if you are ready for the next step you will be asked to take several classes which will only benefit you to move on if you are white (or african american if they wish to portray diversity in a limited capacity)
