Pros

You get your steps in for the day

Cons

You’re lucky if you get 8 hours of work. Whatever your job is forget it. You will end up working as a picker or replenisher majority of the time. Way to many contradicting rules that applies only to the worker but not the supervisors or the supervisors buddies. If you’re favored by one of the supervisors you’ll get ahead of not you’re stuck in whatever position you have. No pay raises after your probation period, 6 months or 1 year. Overtime is mandatory. You don’t get to choose if you want it or not. And if you don’t show up for this mandatory OT you will get written up. They will literally threaten you to write you up for every single little thing. Got sick and called out 2 days? Write up. Management doesn’t care about you.

Pros

Got to meet some great individuals thay will soon find a better opportunity.

Cons

There was no work–life balance, and diversity and inclusion were not genuinely practiced. Inappropriate relationships and unprofessional conduct were allowed to take place in the workplace. Ongoing issues that had existed for months and even years were consistently swept under the rug. Unrealistic expectations were placed on employees, holding them to high standards while leadership simultaneously asked supervisors to be cautious in addressing performance or behavior issues to avoid employees walking off their assignments. There were clear inconsistencies in leadership’s approach, disciplinary actions, and timelines, all of which negatively impacted productivity. As a new supervisor, I was expected to take responsibility for 39 employees and inherit longstanding issues that had been circulating within the departments for years. Gossip and a lack of discipline were the only consistent aspects of the work environment. Management was also a significant challenge, operating with a constant sense of urgency while failing to empower or support those responsible for execution.

Pros

Average benefits / 8hr shifts

Cons

Unfortunately the experience was overwhelmingly negative. Management is by far the biggest issue. There is a complete lack of communication, organization, and professionalism from the top down. Management is always moody/stressed. Expectations change daily with no clear direction, and when mistakes happen due to their lack of guidance, the blame is pushed onto employees instead of being acknowledged as a leadership failure. The typical workday is chaotic and frustrating, especially during Peak season. Schedules are inconsistent for everyone, priorities shift without warning, and you’re often left guessing what your responsibilities actually are because no one takes ownership of properly training or explaining anything. It’s very Spanish driven in which I think is an attempt “the less questions or pushback the better.” Any suggestions for improvement are either ignored or dismissed. It’s common to be pulled in multiple directions at once with unrealistic guidance and zero support. The environment feels tense, reactive, and disorganized — not at all the structured or team-oriented atmosphere the company claimed to have from “people experience” upon starting. Morale is low, turnover is high, and management seems more focused on micromanaging and assigning blame than actually improving the workplace or listening to employee concerns. There’s no real opportunity for growth other than a paycheck.
