    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I worked at NUST full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

The university infrastructure is top class.

    Cons

It has a suffocating military camp atmosphere due to the very large number of retired officers employed there. The teachers with a military background are often pretty good but the ex army university admin is completely incompetent. Despite the bragging very little research is carried out at the university.

    Advice to Management

Sack 3/4 of the officers and replace them with civilians

    Positive Outlook

I worked at NUST part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Rich environment in terms of knowledge, research and productivity

    Cons

Research is comparatively on a narrow spectrum

    Advice to Management

University should include major research areas of the fields too to give an opportunity on a vast spectrum instead of just focusing on some of them

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I have been working at NUST full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

There is a tremendous amount of respect for an instructor at NUST

    Cons

The organization does not invest in its faculty

    Advice to Management

Reduce salaries from admin staff and increase salaries for your faculty members

  7. "Very rude management and mediocre facilities"

    Doesn't Recommend

    Pros

Cant think of any pros right now with so much negativity being there.

    Cons

    Rude management
    Mediocre facilities
    Stress environment
    Deadlines for tasks are horrible

    Advice to Management

Nust needs to review many of its sections. A military ruled institution is enforcing its military concept on civilians which is totally wrong.

  8. "Fine"

    StarStarStarStarStar
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Former Employee - Anonymous Employee

    Pros

It was a fine internship. Really good compared to internships offered in other universities.

    Cons

None, really. Wasn't allocated work space in a lab. A lot of people were, though. I wanted to work from home anyways.

    Advice to Management

Pay students better and as quickly as possible. Make sure there is personal growth for the student as well. Not just benefit for the teacher.

    Pros

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Reward and respect active researchers more. Take out the commander's attitude.
