I worked at National Envelope full-time

    Pros

Loved working banker hours and the people I worked with. They were all really nice and easy going. Two breaks and an hour lunch paid.

    Cons

No flex time. Same stuff every day. Poor management. The company closed down and has switched names. They hired too many people and couldn't manage the work properly.

    Advice to Management

Help out with employees and not make them feel too independent. Don't let your boss dictate how you treat other people. So more respect

I worked at National Envelope full-time

    Pros

    Company now sold!
Employees bounded very well and location was great.

    Cons

The accounting department was like a revolving door. No one stayed not even contract/temp employees. Whenever temp agencies refuse to send temps there because of the supervisor you know it was bad.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees that work there past and present. Find out why no one stayed or even wanted to

I worked at National Envelope full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great team of people to work with, both at the corporate headquarters and at the plants. Challenging work, manager lets me work at my own pace and doesn't interfere.

    Cons

Paper products not used as much any more. It's a dying industry, so odds of staying in a job like this are slim. I was eventually downsized when the company was sold.

    Advice to Management

Don't spend so much money on business travel. Use it for employee incentives. Invest more in developing salable products or providing other services.
