    Very less work load. Typical Government Job scenario.
    Hectic only when meetings are to be held.
    Very good technology to work on.

    Pros

    NIC is a great company to work for, there is not much competition around. As a trainee I learned so many new technologies. Really loved working there.

    Cons

    There is not so much of work life balance.

    Pros

    It's Good place it terms of exposure, as one can gain experience working closely with higher management government officials,.

    Cons

    As it is a contractual job so getting into the government machinery is a bit complex, as government organizations have its own style of working and its more of old fashioned ways of working as compared to that of corporate organizations

    Relaxed Environment, no work pressure, fixed work time, affordable food options, premium location

    Cons

    Chalta-hai attitude, no appreciation for hard work, organized working - Big No, arrogance of position in seniors, butt-licking is desired, be-a-Yes-Man, no originality, no one wants to put in efforts, most lazy creatures I have ever seen (of course, exceptions are there who are duly rewarded with ridicule), too many moochers and freeloaders

    Advice to Management

    You will never really be able to rise up to the world standards until your people stop being dogmatic and stuck-in-the muds. Stop promoting work-shirkers, appreciate hard work and punish who do nothing but eat Govt.'s money for free.
