I worked at One Workplace full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People really care about their fellow employees. A high premium is placed on individual contributors being important to the success. The company has a good reputation in the area and supports many local causes.

    Cons

There is some of the family company feel where certain people that have been there a while have to be tip-toed around. There is also a lot of change as far as new processes and tools/resources as the company changes various business systems that can be confusing or less helpful.

    Advice to Management

Consider some bottom-up pulse checking instead of letting layers of managers inform about the day-to-day successes or failures.

I have been working at One Workplace (More than a year)

    Pros

Profit sharing and working from home

    Cons

Overdone processes that are tedious and unnecessary. Onboard process was quite frustrating, no formal training and when asking for support brushed off by management. Very cliquey and toxic work environment, some account managers do not appreciate hard work. Management in San Francisco will preach a family mentality, but are quick to throw you under a bus. Only care about sales margins.

I worked at One Workplace full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

-family owned and operated and they really care about their employees
    -plenty of marquee clients
    -lots of resources
    -quite a stable company
    -despite size, leadership is approachable

    Cons

    -sclerotic company
-abject favoritism in the organization. If you're friends with the owners, your kids can get a job there, regardless of ability
-better for working with traditional, slower moving clients.
    -very weighed down by process

    Advice to Management

ditch 3/4 of your middle management.
    streamline your processes

    Pros

Awesome owners, transparency, fun perks like BBQ's, etc. Profit sharing is great. Good people, nice office.

    Cons

Pay is too low- not even market rate. No formal review process. Have to fight for a salary increase. The nepotism is beyond ridiculous!
