      My Time with Optech

      Pros

      I felt that they were very attentive for the day to day issues. If you reached out, you were for sure going to get a reply back to whatever you needed. I liked that quick response time.

      Cons

      The post contract communication was non existent. My contract was shortened (somehow) and nobody communicated that it was up until the week off. And as much as they say that they will find other roles, after my contract was up, nobody contacted me about any other jobs or any follow up at all.

      Loved it for the few weeks I was there

      Cons

      Every few years the CEO cleans house and goes on a firing spree for no reason. I know of 9 people within one month, including the CFO. Don't know how she has stayed afloat

      We are sorry to read your review of OpTech. The instance you are referring to (more than three years ago) happened to be a very challenging time for everyone at OpTech. We had witnessed, first-hand, the implications that come from changes in the healthcare and financial industries. These changes affected some of our biggest clients, which in turn has impacted our bottom line. Unfortunately, the leadership team made a very difficult decision about rightsizing and had to let some of our colleagues go. We did not make these decisions lightly, and this is definitely not something we do every couple of years and have not done since. We pride ourselves on our culture and team. Most of our staff have been with us for more than five years, some as many as 10, 15, and nearly 20 years. We are grateful for the hard work and dedication these people provided during their time with us. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us to discuss further.

      Pros

      I have never worked with a more passionate group. They have the utmost care for our consultants, end clients, and for our internal team. Our leadership is receptive to addressing the concerns and needs of the team. They place the utmost trust in their employees to manage their day, workflows, and deliverables. Best of all I work with a team that supports one another. This is honestly a great and fun company to work for. I am happy to be here!
