      Pros

      It feels like employees are hired to inflate the price the company can eventually be sold for. It is a peculiar situation to be caught up in. At the same time development of the product has almost ground to a halt and there are several colleagues with not much to do.

      Cons

      Sometimes very strong bonds can form between employees and OpenFin being a small startup with regular events greatly facilitates this. However it can lead to jealousy and people turning against each other.

      Pros

      As the product is an entire platform, there is a ton of different interesting tech happening all at once. If you demonstrate that you can produce quality code you will have the opportunity to work on nearly anything you'd like with some really fantastic developers. The engineering team has a very diverse set of interests and is always up for discussing new ideas. You can really learn a lot here. While OpenFin is growing significantly, it still maintains a very "horizontal" feel organizationally. You can just as easily have a conversation with the CEO as you would with a summer intern. Overall great work environment, a true start-up that feels like its picking up momentum, lots of fun.

      Open office floor plan can be a bit distracting, get a good pair of headphones!

      All employees can be remote

      Cons

      - Very toxic workplace culture - extremely high turnover rate, most new employees are in and out quickly - Employees keep leaving and it is not taken seriously by management, brush off as " start up culture" have been around 12 years, no longer a start up - If you address company issues with management it is ignored until they see it as critical
