Refurbishment Department Senior Technisian
Jul 27, 2016 - Refurbishment Department Senior TechnisianRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
This is a growing company which gives some opportunities for advancement. My department has almost unlimited overtime. The management is very friendly and respectful. We get free employee meals once a month and a turkey at Thanksgiving. The vacation time off is generous. I like the job I have and the people that I work with. I will be retiring soon after 16 years.
Cons
Some of the things that I don't like are the occurances for taking sick time off which kills perfect attendance awards. I don't like the policy of having to work 40 hours before getting overtime pay. I think after 8 hours in a day we should get overtime pay as well as getting it on Saturday. I think Sunday we should get double time.

It's a decent job with GREAT benefits
Apr 27, 2020 - Courtesy Clerk in Bothell, WARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Great benefits and a way better enviroment than most grocery stores
Cons
The upper management could be better, dislike the grocery store system and the way they hire. There reaction to COVID-19 is not at par to what we should be doing. The union should reach out to the workers instead of Vice-versa.

Aerospace Chemical Processing
Feb 16, 2020 - Estimator in Compton, CARecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Independent; able to perform with little to no supervision. Customer base is approachable and appreciative of competent concise engagement; if management could meet deliverables they would have to turn customers away at the gate.
Cons
No mobility; large turnover of upper management, and office staff. As a service house, emphasis is placed on hourly workforce, and overtime. Two changes in ownership, five general managers, six HR managers, four quality managers, five controllers, five director of operations, four EHS managers, and a dozen accounting staff, in six years.
