I worked at PMG full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Easy, nice coworkers, that’s it.

    Cons

Falsely advertised as “hourly + commission” pay. Pay is hourly OR commission, but they won’t tell you that until you ask them directly. Manager hires young women solely to FLIRT with them. Disgusting and completely unethical. They vaguely make the job sound very promising during the interview, only to send you into Sam’s club to annoy customers into buying phones and directTV. You will have to spend your own $$ on... gas to travel over 30mi away to different locations - no reimbursement. Do not waste your time, money, or dignity with PMG.

    Advice to Management

Stop allowing “managers” to lie and take advantage of employees. Very money-hungry, unethical people - I would report to the BBB if the company actually showed up in their database.

I worked at PMG full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    Good coworkers and decent hours.

    Cons

Not commission plus hourly; it’s commission OR hourly. Poor structure. Constantly feel like you’re being led on. Act like you will be selling for Fortune 500 companies but in reality you soliciting random sams club members to buy phones and direct TV when they aren’t looking to buy in the first place.

    Advice to Management

Be honest in interviews about the job description.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at PMG full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Most co-workers are decent people

    Cons

Boss has favorites and her "favorites" are the busy body know-it-alls that throw everyone else under the bus. The company was recently purchased by a company in India and most jobs have been sent there. The new owners don't talk to or care about the employees. There are only a handful of people left and those people are searching for new jobs. There is a lot of tension in the atmosphere and the boss is a large part... of the problem. She is not fair and does not appreciate the good people that work there.

    Advice to Management

The people that are the "favorites" are the worst workers you have. Start appreciating the other people that you ignore!
