Pros

My time at Parallel Labs was very engaging and informative. The projects I received were challenging and the environment is one which encourages trying new things.

Cons

I think there could have been more focus on research during the projects rather than jumping directly into the design aspect of it.

Pros

1. Good, modern workplace and infrastructure 2. Good projects to work on 3. Design sprints

Cons

1. No work life balance. You'll be asked to work on weekends many times, or be given work at the end of the day to take home and deliver first thing by next morning. No respect for employee's time and you are expected to be responsive at all hours 2. Highly unrealistic expectations in terms of workload and deliverables 3. Micromanagement to the finest. Your own ideas are crushed, only what they ask is to be presented, and if it does not match their exact vision, it is trashed. No autonomy at all for work. Every detail will be as per the CEO's taste, even till colors and fonts, will be as per the CEO's taste. Forget about any exploration of ideas or creativity. 4. Terrible work ethic and treatment of employees. You'll just be a consultant for them. Feedback given is very unhealthy and not constructive. Instead, it is mainly on what they like. You'll just be transforming the upper management's vision to the screen, they will examine every detail and need everything exactly as they told. 5. No benefits or perks given. Management acts like you're their private attendants, not their employees. 6. Unstable team due to frequent hirings and firings. 7. Imposing of their own work methods on the employees, no freedom to choose how to create
