    I worked at PepsiAmericas part-time

    Pros

great pay for not needing a college degree. If you work hard enough there is room for advancement

    Cons

Long days, especially during the summer. You may be asked to pick up extra stores

    Advice to Management

Hire more workers during the summer so the hours are realistic

    Positive Outlook

I worked at PepsiAmericas full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is plenty of work to do.

    Cons

Extreme favoritism. Supervisors and Management are appointed by favoritism. Extremely poor working conditions and repeated violations concerning production and skilled trades.

    Advice to Management

Having supervisors and managers with degrees in the respected field would be a plus. I was treated poorly so I went to school and earned the degree and now know why things are the way they are at the Fort Wayne facility. There's no respect or dignity in beating people down.

I worked at PepsiAmericas full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

This was a company that truly cared about its employees. Opportunities, Fun Work Environment People, Senior Management

    Cons

If they hadn't been forced to merge with PepsiCo's biggest bottling group by PepsiCo I would still be working for them.o

    Pros

A generally good mix of people to work with. Salaries are good and so are the benefits. I recommend it for everyone.

    Cons

Work life balance can sometimes be less than optimal. Wouldn't want to work in the IT area. Those people always looked stressed.

    Advice to Management

I would tell management to just speak to the rank and file in a conversational tone and keep the business jargon to a minimum.

once you were "labeled", it was very difficult to get out from under that label

    keep an open mind

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Very stable company to work for. You could easily retire from the company. The benefits were excellent.

    Cons

It was very challenging to get promoted and if you made any mistakes you were never really forgiven. They lacked proper leadership to cultivate and mold lower level engineers.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate why managers aren't promoting from within and determine what will it take to get an individual to the next level in tangible way. For example, must complete one course in Micrsoft, must become certified in XYZ and etc.

    Pros

good benefits, lots of physical excersize,

    Cons

no room for advancement, meager pay for supporting a family

    Advice to Management

consider moving up employees who have been with the company a few years rather than fill management positions with students
