I worked at PlusOne Communications full-time

    Pros

Steady schedule and pay. Easy to get second job or have a life due to the steady schedule that they provide.

    Cons

No guarantees at all. You must not depend on this because it is heavily based on sales performance. It's easy tho, the supervisors will show you plenty of ways that the company cheats to earn false sales.

    Advice to Management

Choose wisely. Decisions should be based on knowledge, maturity and people skills. Not numbers. Moral needs plenty of improvement and it all begins with the people who support theit teams properly.

I worked at PlusOne Communications full-time

    Pros

    Ummmm....Easy location to get to?

    Cons

    - Constant change among leadership at a supervisor level
    - Management has no respect for anyone, they treat you like children
    - Tenure means nothing
    - You have to ask PERMISSION to use the restroom
    - High pressure sales environment in a "Tech Support" role
    - All the supervisors are always depressed because of childish management
    - High turnover
    - Insane and unfair points system, they bend the rules if you are a good seller.
Works management and supervisors thin, they all work 50+ hours and get paid garbage but the upper management team thinks its great pay. You actually take a pay cut if you want to be a supervisor and that's not even factoring in the extra hours your work.
    - Unreal expectations
    - Super quick training, they do it in half the time their client does it.
    - Unprofessional environment
    - Prepare to be talked down to.
    - They don't coach employee's to get better, supervisors just but something in your file because they are required to daily, but they don't actually talk to you.
Deviations count against your accruing PTO...that's right, if THEY send you home it effects your ability to earn PTO.
    - In a ghetto area, peoples cars get broken into, constantly homeless people walking through the parking lot.
    - They literally hire anyone because so many people quit, so you have a lot of shady colleagues.
    - They brag about their health insurance, its 20% a month of your check AFTER taxes - and thats for the base package and if you are single with no dependents.
    - You are required to work late at night and weekends.

    Advice to Management

Grow up. Respect your employees, respect tenure and realize the marketplace.

    Pros

Paycheck when you are desperate for work.

    Cons

Schedule fluctuates all the time. You could be working 10:00 - 18:00 then suddenly get moved to 23:00 - 07:00. Very high stress sales dominated call center.

    Advice to Management

    Respect your employees.

    Pros

Decent pay when you met compliance. Unlimited commission. Easy work .

    Cons

Can't afford to have an emergency or call off or you'll not get paid the full $15. Poor work-life balance. Prefer you to work in the evening. They don't honor military obligations. Have to raise your hand to use the restroom. The list goes on and on this is a terrible place to work . You are guaranteed to be stressed out everyday , not with the clients but with the supervision.

    Advice to Management

    This whole business needs reform

I have been working at PlusOne Communications full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

All my supervisors have been great, helpful, and care about their employees. The structure of the supervisor role is efficient. You are always learning and always allowed feedback from supervisor when needed. Job is easy, flow charts and packet after packet to help you with call flow and structure.

    Cons

Do not consider this as an in-between job from college to a career unless you're ok with losing $400 per check for not making compliance due to interviews for actual careers. This is not a knock, this is of course totally fair when you're losing compliance when you're actively absent trying to find another job, but I would recommend working somewhere else for a few bucks less and have consistent checks where you can take days off where you do not lose money for it other than not getting paid that day and actually at a place that understands that you are there temporarily. My real complaint is the lack of consistency and lack of professionalism. Customer service is hard and when you have people above you that give you issues as much as the customers it is impossible to keep a smile and be happy to come into work.

    Advice to Management

Invest in the agents that have real potential, treat people that do their job diligently and give the opportunity for better shifts.

    Pros

I work as a CSR, the interview was fun and easy. As long as you have a cover letter and resume you should have no issues. The job is stressful and the customers can be a little "off-putting" but once you pass training and tank you'll be fine.

    Cons

I make 14 and hour as long as I work my set schedule, if you deviate from that schedule you lose your "compliancy" and get dropped to your base pay.

    Advice to Management

You got this, a few more supervisors would not be frowned upon.
