Thank you for the feedback. We have a responsibility to provide stability to our clients hence the 1 year in position guideline to apply for a new role. That said, we also have a process to review exception requests as we would always prefer to promote internally prior to bringing someone in externally. We wish you all the best in your career.

    Pros

Flexible schedules, ability to change verticals

    Cons

Grossly underpays their employees and only gives raises if you take on more responsibility therefore you can never catch up. Promotes friends/people who suck up instead of the most talented/deserving. Many manages micro manage and should not be managing people. Poor training.

I have been working at Pontoon Solutions full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are none, I would not recommend this company

    Cons

Unstable company- you never know when you're gonna get fired, company decided to fire their employees with an immediate effect ,right after the corona virus has appeard in Poland. In the past they have been firing people without any warning as well. They don't care about their workers ,they are lazy with sending the documentation that needs to be provided in order to be paid when u're in sick leave, for example you need to prompt them few times and you still need to wait 1,5mnths

I have been working at Pontoon Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I like the atmosphere. I like that there are multiple accounts in the building. My co-workers rock.

    Cons

My bosses are constantly saying that if we don't do well, they will cut the team down in size. I don't like my job being threatened on a daily basis.

    Pontoon Solutions Response

Thank you for your feedback. I fully agree that cutting the team isn't something that should come up regularly. In fact, it's the last resort for us. The beauty of having a center with multiple accounts is the ability to move people from accounts in a slower period to those with excess volume. If you're comfortable bring this up to the local HRBP, she can ensure confidential feedback is given to the leader. If not, please put the comment in our engagement pulse survey which is live now.

I worked at Pontoon Solutions full-time for more than a year

    Pros

I started out my journey with Pontoon working with one of their biggest clients in Chicago. First let me say the client was phenomenal -- everything that I probably should have received from my actual employer, I received from them. From positivity, words of encouragement, tips on how to grow professionally, and etc. My second biggest pro was my immediate team (excluding our management). Considering the very extreme conditions that we we worked under, we made sure to work like a well - oiled machine and acted as a family. Some of the best co-workers I have ever worked with in terms of keeping me positive, holding me accountable, and pushing me to do better things.

    Cons

Management is horrible. I went through 4 different managers in the span of a year, and all of 4 of them were bad -- one being even so bad that HR was called to deal with the situation. I have had managers demean me or others in front of the team (yelling, screaming in meetings), micro managing to the point of going through my emails and writing down when I came and went for lunch. There was one team member who had to work while also putting together the funeral of a parent. My final manager in our first 1:1, instead of greeting me, asked about an interview that I had with our client -- our working relationship was never restored after that. We were not allowed to associate with our vendors unless management was present. Team members were told they were not allowed to ask questions in meetings -- we were not allowed to ask questions about our work or etc. Everything that was told to me by my recruiter at the inital stage of me accepting my offer was at some point reversed or taken away, and when brought up, the only explanation given was, "you signed a contract". We were written up for being even a minute late -- no matter what the situation. HR was called to intervene several times and there was barely acknowledgement of those claims. Processes were never improved upon, and real connections were never made -- unless they were under the eyes of management. The overarching director has no real connection to the team, and barely acknowledges them whenever he comes in from the office out east. At one point, the team requested that one of the longest standing members on the team be given the chance to interview for the program director role, and those pleas were ignored. Management created a very toxic environment to where in was extremelty visible to the clients -- to the point where managers would reach out and ask if everything was ok. There is absolutely no room for growth and management has the mentality that employees are slaves instead of human.

Thank you for taking time to write a review. There are always more than one perspective in any situation and in your case I feel this to be true. I worked at Pontoon Solutions full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

I worked onsite one of our clients and to be honest I didn't feel very connected to Pontoon because of that. However, the majority of the supervisors I had were amazing which is why i stayed for quite some time. While there i did feel like my supervisors wanted me to learn and experience growth in my role. They were kind and respectful which I appreciated.

    Cons

The pay compared to other companies was quite low while I was there. After I left, my pay doubled for a similar role. Because we worked onsite at a client site, we did not have the ability to work remote and work hours dictated we had to be there before the client in the morning and be there a little after they left. Also, I didn't really feel like there was truly room to grow unless i wanted my supervisors role.
