    Pros

Cultivated a great work environment with awesome coworkers

I worked at Popchips full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company had great potential, but all the talent has left the building and decisions are now being made by people that have no idea how to be successful in this category.

    Cons

Pay is low and there is little chance of a large buy out at this point

    Advice to Management

Talk to the people that are out there everyday meeting with your distribution network and retailors, they understand the business and how to succeed if given the opportunity

I have been working at Popchips full-time

    Pros

Pretty easy work, good salary for the amount of work I did. Awesome coworkers, laid back office environment, all chips you can eat.

Are relocating headquarters to LA, all employees are new.

    Cons

If you want to build a creative portfolio, this is not the job for you, I would recommend this as the first job for a college grad. Very strict brand guidelines that you have to adhere to, a lot of push back for outside ideas. Management led a lot of the creative which funneled down to us, being directed, not allowed to help in the creative process.

I worked at Popchips as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Management was super supportive and always open to suggestions and criticisms of how the events were run. They really appreciate enthusiasm and work hard to maintain a very team-oriented ethic. There are a lot of personalities that can play in to the mix, but everyone always got along very well.

    Cons

The events could become redundant, and the pitch can be a little stiff, but there are ways to make it your own. The hours were inconsistent week to week so even though the pay was great it is hard to know what you're going to get monthly.

    Advice to Management

Keep on doing what you're doing and listening to your employees needs and ideas.

I worked at Popchips as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Great networking opportunity. A lot of variety to offer and a great product.

    Cons

Prior management (since has been fired) would hire new brand ambassadors every 6 months only to let majority of them go and repeat. Favoritism to the max. Regional and local market manager were buddies so reaching out to regional market manager about any issues regarding management was out of the question.

    Advice to Management

Don't hire your buddies and let those that aren't your friends slip through the cracks. Horrible favoritism that wasn't good for the company or other employees. Seemed like more money and time was spent on training and clothing the ever changing employees rather than focusing on keeping the employees you had. Don't let go your only bilingual brand ambassador to hire multiple non bilingual ambassadors- it's Phoenix, Arizona.
