Pros

I joined Power Plus two years ago and couldn't be happier with my decision. As a former in house AV employee, I find the work environment to be significantly less stressful. The operational SOPs that were in place prior to my onboarding are well structured and truly make a difference to ensure everything is run smoothly. If you are looking for a supportive team and a more manageable pace in the AV world I highly recommend Power Plus! The owner is welcoming and genuinely passionate about the industry. He is constantly getting new equipment to keep up with industry trends. You get lots of hands on time with really cool toys!

Cons

They can be hurdles with pop ups and changes from clients. If you are not flexible this is not the job for you.

Pros

- Excellent work-life balance: they genuinely care about you as a person, not just an employee. - Family-owned, so there’s a strong emphasis on putting family first, which creates a supportive and understanding atmosphere. - Zero micromanagement: you have the freedom to take ownership of your work and be trusted to perform. - Recognition for hard work: if you’re driven and proactive, you’ll be rewarded. - Open-door policy: management is approachable and willing to listen to ideas or concerns. - Flexible hours allow for a great balance between professional and personal life. - LGBTQ+ friendly workplace - A culture of respect and equality where gender does not influence opportunities or treatment. - Fair opportunities for all: Employees are given a fair shot at growth and success, no matter their background. - Comprehensive benefits: A wide range of benefits to choose from, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans. - Maternity and paternity leave: Generous and supportive parental leave policies for both mothers and fathers. - Ownership genuinely cares: Leadership is truly invested in the well-being of both staff and customers, creating a positive and supportive work environment.

Cons

The team could benefit from more Sales Managers to help engage and grow client relationships more effectively.

Pros

none that I can think of

Cons

Drama tech geeks who want to blame you for mistakes you didn’t even make and likes to go tattle on you. Management likes to change your schedule without communicating but takes offense when you do. Lol. Most people here have poor social skills, think of all the drama tech geeks in highschool, now just angry. No opportunity to grow. Horrible pay for how much physical labor you will have to do.
