      Pros

      A good place to get your feet wet if you are interested in learning about SEO. You do not have to work more than 40 hours a week.

      Cons

      As the other reviews say, lots of bickering goes on in the office, with it being a family run business. If you like an independent workplace, this is not the place for you. The owners will constantly go through your work by sending you tasks and emails. A lot of busy work, which can limit creativity. High turnover rate.

      As always, we really thank you and value your feedback! As we are a high volume agency, a lot of our success comes with making sure our clients are satisfied. Because of that, we do have to be sure that we are meeting our goals and providing clients with updates in a consistent manner. Should an employee not be able to meet those goals, management certainly does have to task and monitor things. In addition, we're always focused on training our employees, which does require a level of quality control from management. We also would never leave fake reviews in order to buffer things, and can assure you that the review in question was written by a great former employee. We're proud to say that we have team members that have worked at Practis for several of our 21 years as a company, and they continue to contribute to our success today. We value all feedback, and constantly push our employees to discuss things internally with the open door policy in mind. We apologize that you were not happy with the culture here, but we are firm believers that it's driven by the employees, regardless of sweet treats we bring. We wish you the best in your new endeavor!

      - Casual dress and work environment - Pet friendly - Great coworkers - Good entry-level learning environment and start to your career

      Cons

      - Micromanagement runs deep at Practis. So much so, that there was a camera installed so that management would know what time you physically walked in and out of the door each day. - Employee feedback goes in one ear and out the other - Onboarding process is unorganized and lacking - Cumbersome internal processes - No work-from-home policy - Lacking in tools to help employees do their job - Not a work environment that is conducive to productivity and employee well-being

      We definitely appreciate your feedback and certainly value the time you were with us! At the end of the day, our goal is to provide a quality service to our partners, and that often requires a multi-tiered approach of quality assurance. Having various sets of eyes on client accounts and the work that's being performed is a commitment we have to our clients to ensure they are getting the results they contracted for. In addition, we love hiring fresh talent that sometimes comes with little experience, requiring a bit more direction in the first few months of employment. As for trust, we are firm believers that this is built, and have a great group of people that are trusted with every bit of their job. Our open door communication policies at Practis ensure everyone's ideas are heard, and based on employee feedback we have implemented a work from home program while keeping client commitments and our industry regulations as key variables in the development of said program. And as a company that prides itself on security and compliance, we do have internal security procedures that are not for tracking purposes but to comply to various federal mandates.       -Family-owned -Will go out of their way to be a terrible company -Do not trust their employees -Management is severely inexperienced -You are constantly being watched -Management is constantly looking for people that are bad-mouthing them
