Until they need you for some odd ball job. Don't worry, once that specific job is done, all of your experience is forgotten again.

The "Bonus" for Automation Specialist does not even come close to the actual pay you would receive if you made overtime.
There WILL BE people that have absolutely no experience that make more then you do.

You will not have a raise for at least 1 year from higher date.
Jan-June get evaluations in July following your year mark,
June-Dec get evaluations in January following your year mark.
A person can move up positions unless you meet specific marks, but you also do not have the opportunities to meet those marks.
If a job opens up that you are more then qualified for and you ask to be looked at for it, you will then do the work for that position until they higher from outside the company to fill the role. You will then train the person that filled the role, all with out any compensation/raise/or bonus.
